Stored Product PestsSmall (about 1/16 inch), soft-bodied, cream-colored to grayish or light brown, wingless, fast-moving insects. Feed on molds and fungi growing on damp materials. Found in books, cereals, wallpaper, boxes, and other materials with high moisture. May damage starched items. Large numbers develop under excessive humid conditions.
