Application Method

Apply aerosol insecticide with crack and crevice tip into tight spaces where pests hide but conventional spray equipment cannot reach. Insert thin injector tube or tip into cracks, crevices, holes, voids, and other concealed areas. Apply short 1-2 second bursts - do not over-apply. Target areas include: electrical outlets and switch plates, behind baseboards, plumbing penetrations, cabinet hinges, drawer runners, appliance motors, inside wall voids, and expansion joints. Aerosol products penetrate deep into voids and provide quick knockdown plus residual control. Available in flushing formulations (pyrethrins) for immediate knockdown or residual formulations (cypermethrin, deltamethrin) for longer-lasting control.

Timing

Use during regular service calls as part of comprehensive treatment. Apply after cleaning and preparation but before sealing cracks.

Frequency

Apply as needed during each service visit to harborage areas. Frequency depends on infestation level and product used - typically every 30-60 days for maintenance.

Preparation Required

Identify all crack and crevice harborage areas during inspection. Remove outlet and switch plate covers for interior treatment if needed. Ensure adequate ventilation. Have appropriate aerosol product and extension tubes ready.

Follow-up Required

Replace outlet covers and switch plates. Allow 30-60 minutes for area to ventilate before customer returns. Seal cracks and crevices after treatment for long-term exclusion. Monitor treated areas for continued activity.
