Escutcheon Plate
Two-piece decorative and functional plates that fit around plumbing pipes where they penetrate walls or floors. Creates a tight seal preventing pest entry through gaps around pipes.
Common Use Cases
- Seal gaps around water supply lines under sinks
- Cover radiator pipe penetrations in walls and floors
- Close openings around drain pipes
- Finish around gas line penetrations
Application Instructions
Measure pipe diameter and select appropriately sized two-piece escutcheon plate (common sizes: 1/2", 3/4", 1"). First stuff gap around pipe with copper wool or mesh to fill void. Wrap plate halves around pipe at wall/floor penetration point. Secure plate halves together (snap-fit or screw type). Apply thin bead of caulk around plate edge where it meets wall surface. Smooth caulk with wet finger. Generally made of stainless steel, chrome, or brass.
