Application Method

Apply pea-sized gel bait placements (squeeze pea-sized dabs every foot or so) from a syringe or tube into cracks, crevices, and harborage areas including: behind and beneath appliances, inside cabinet hinges and corners, along plumbing under sinks, in wall voids around pipes, inside electrical boxes, along baseboards, along cabinet shelves and crevices. Insert gels into cracks and holes before sealing them up. Place baits where cockroaches are seen or droppings are found. Apply 3-5 placements per linear foot in heavy infestation areas. Do not apply to food contact surfaces or where bait could contaminate food. Baits contain stomach poisons that must be swallowed to kill the insect. Baits do not kill pests right away, but are very effective. Pests eat them and die slowly, after they go back to their nests. Secondary kill: Other cockroaches in the nest die when they eat the droppings and remains of cockroaches that ate the bait, significantly amplifying effectiveness.

Timing

Apply after HEPA vacuuming to remove existing populations and debris. Most effective when applied in evening when cockroaches are active.

Frequency

Inspect placements every 2-4 weeks. Replenish consumed or dried baits. Reapply after it gets eaten. Continue applications until no cockroach activity is observed for at least 2 weeks.

Preparation Required

HEPA vacuum to remove existing cockroaches, eggs, and debris. Clean areas of heavy grease buildup. Identify and mark all harborage locations during inspection.

Follow-up Required

Monitor bait consumption and cockroach activity with sticky traps. Replenish consumed baits. Document reductions in population. Address sanitation and exclusion issues concurrently.
